Before exploring happiness through different lenses (human science, neurobiology…) let’s agree on one fact. The workplace seems to be not a good place to be today. Among all the social contexts where people interact with each other, the workplace is way ahead of the one that generates the most negative emotions – Struggle, Frustration, Distress, Pain, even despair; In one word, unhappiness.
Is this fatality? Are these negative emotions intrinsically linked to the world of work? With a strong knowledge (from UC Berkeley MOOC Science of Happiness) let me demonstrate that workplace and happiness are not an oxymoron.
