Nell Watson is an engineer, educator, and tech philosopher who grew up in Northern Ireland. In the next video she will share her unique vision on Sogeti’s Executive Summit ‘Utopia for Beginners’ and tell you how we go into an era in which we will augment the human heart and soul.
About Nell Watson
Nell Watson lectures globally on Machine Intelligence, AI philosophy, Human-Machine relations, and the Future of Human Society, serving on the Faculty of AI & Robotics at Singularity University. She is also Co-Founder of EthicsNet, a non-profit, building a movement of people who are committed to help machines understand humans better. This community acts as role models and guardians to raise kind AI, by providing virtual experiences, and collecting examples of pro-social practices.
About the Utopia for Beginners event
The Utopia for Beginners events
were held in order to discuss pressing questions and problems in IT. With over
250 IT Executives we explored new ways to innovate in a purposeful way. The
input came from 14 inspiring keynotes given by academics, thought leaders and
business leaders and was used in several round table discussions to learn from
peers in the same and different industries. We summarized these valuable
insights in our report ‘Utopia for Executives’ which you can download here.

About Thijs Pepping
Thijs Pepping is a humanistic trend analyst in the field of new technologies.
