“There’s a lot going on here in silicon valley”, a Dutch CEO messaged me some months ago. He was on a study trip to search for new ideas and ways to innovate. There’s a lot going on in the valley for years, but it seems that disruptive powers are getting to a climax. The reason for that acceleration of innovation is described in our first report “Design to Disrupt: executive introduction“.

But not only in the US, it’s happening everywhere. A recent list of European financial disruptive organizations shows the potential of breaking up the legacy of the financial system. Over 750 FinTech companies across Europe were considered for the FinTech50 2015. Now in its third year 50 FinTech companies have been recognized with the potential to become a game-changer in financial services technology. The 50 FinTechs were selected by a an expert panel, including leaders from Google, Microsoft, Fiserv, American Express and tier-one VC investors active in the sector.
