This year a new series of podcasts are planned. I am working with my SogetiLabs fellows Daniel Laskewitz and Rik Marselis to produce podcasts for our channel Technology labs. Each podcast focusses on a tech topic and we have expert guests that help us explore new technologies. We always start a podcast with a discussion of a couple of tech items that often leads to some interesting new insights. You can read below what we are talking about in this podcast or start of the podcast and subscribe to our channel here:

The first episode of the new 2021 series is online where Rik, Daniel and me kick off the new year in tech. Hear all about our perception of Float planes taking off from concrete runways (and how did it get there in the first place; https://youtu.be/7osw2jcsi6Q).
Next on our agenda is the ‘deplatforming’ of Trump. All the tech involved how to do that is interesting, but what we are even more curious about is the ethics behind this. You cannot block free speech, right? The Verge has a nice article on this as well (https://www.theverge.com/2021/1/6/22217894/deplatform-trump-twitter-ban-facebook-youtube-congress-capitol-riots)
A brief stop at older technology is made with Netflix discontinued from older Nintendo devices (https://www.theverge.com/2021/1/6/22217049/nintendo-netflix-wii-u-3ds-switch). Going to newer tech with the hype game AmongUs (who is playing this as well?). VR implementation for this game that is there for a year or two delivers a very good immersive experience. We extend new tech in old games to GTA in VR and the update of new radio channels in this already quite old game.
Let us know your feedback on our podcast or suggest new guests in ratings in your favorite podcast app or in the comment section below.
Have fun listening!
