Zohir Koufi is passionate about artificial intelligence, with a career rooted in a strong academic foundation and extensive professional experience. His journey began with a master’s degree in Computer Science, specializing in Software Engineering and Computer Vision. He later served as a Fraud Analyst at VEON, focusing on data analysis, fraud detection, and machine learning development. Driven to deepen his expertise in AI, he pursued a degree in Mathematics with a specialization in Data Science at the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne, followed by an Industrial PhD in Artificial Intelligence.
Supported by CIFRE and RAPID grants from the French Ministry of Armed Forces, his research centered on developing a scalable, collaborative system for website classification. This work integrated advanced natural language processing, traditional machine learning, and deep learning techniques, resulting in international publications and the creation of collaborative website classification software.
Beyond his research endeavors, Zohir teaches master’s students at the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne and bachelor’s students at the University of Nanterre. Currently, he serves as a Project Manager and Research Scientist at SogetiLabs, where he bridges theoretical research and industrial applications. His primary focus is on synthetic data generation using advanced generative AI to support software testers and enhance software development processes. Zohir’s dynamic career reflects his dedication to innovation and his passion for sharing knowledge in artificial intelligence.
