Robin Heckenauer

Robin Heckenauer is an AI researcher with a career spanning both academia and industry. He began his journey with a master’s internship, collaborating between IRIMAS (University of Haute-Alsace) and ICube (University of Strasbourg), and later completed a PhD at IRIMAS from 2019 to 2023. His doctoral research focused on applying AI to histopathological images, contributing to prestigious national and European projects like Sys-MIFTA and AiCOLO.
In 2024, Robin joined SogetiLabs as an R&D Project Manager, where he leads a team working on cutting-edge AI projects, including pain expression recognition. His work bridges the gap between academic research and industry, fostering innovation in AI applications.
