Owen Schacherer

I am a Software engineering consultant within Sogeti with a passion for innovation, growth, object-oriented design, and artificial intelligence/machine learning. I obtained a B.S. in Software Engineering at Iowa State University in 2021, during which I took two AI/ML classes and my senior design protected centered around Object Detection. While studying these subjects I embarked on a personal project to predict sports bets with TensorFlow neural networks. In 2021, my effort resulted in 68% accuracy on NFL spread bets from 2004-2019. I have continued my work with this and in August 2022 started schooling to get an Artificial Intelligence Master’s Degree from University of Nebraska at Omaha.
