Drake, The Weeknd’s Voice-Generated A.I. Song Is a Hit Online

“On Friday (April 14), a mysterious creative artist named “Ghostwriter” posted on his social media channels a track called “Heart on My Sleeve” featuring the voice-generated A.I. vocals of Drake and The Weeknd. The song has both Canadian artists rapping and singing about Selena Gomez. The fake tune has become a hit on social media and streaming services for how realistic it sounds.”

According to Drake himself, AI is the “final straw”. Universal Music Group says new technology relies on unauthorised use of copyrighted material. they have urged streaming services to clamp down on AI-generated music. So how will this end? Is the genie out of the bottle? You can download multiple voice models from Kanye West, Michael Jackson, Rihanna and use them within Google Collab. There is even a complete AI HUB Discord Server that is dedicated to this kind of music.

The hashtag, which has about 94.1 million views, features a panoply of upbeat, mostly white women in athleisure with charming Southern accents, showing off their recipes for flavored water in their giant metal Stanley cups. There is peach-ring flavored water. There is Dole Whip-flavored water. There is even banana-split-flavored water, and, perhaps most infamously, birthday cake.”
