This week we visited the ESEF and Technishow seminar. A great overview of robotic arms, metal working robots, material science, additive manufacturing and related technology was on display. We had a great time looking through all the showcases.
I got the privilege of speaking on the topic of virtual engineering and testing. A lot of digital activities are done in engineering. Virtual engineering is integrating all the digital steps of the product lifecycle. Using real-time data (coming from great IoT solutions adding connected sensors!) virtual engineered products and environments become much more powerful. It can bring testing from the level of being reactive to monitoring or even to being predictive.
