  1. Nee, ik kan niet beter de toekomst voorspellen. Ik kan wel beter voorspellen wat de consequenties zijn van mogelijke toekomstige voorvallen en gebaseerd daarop potentieele maatregelen voorbereiden om de toekomst beter tegemoet te treden.

  2. Ik denk dat we hier met een taal issue te maken hebben. Voorspellen is iets voor magiers. Ik zoek nog naar het juiste woord.

  3. Bid data will shine where the law of large numbers do apply. Predicting typical baskets of goods for given customer segments will work, as will mass holiday choices.
    Maybe it will also help in leveraging the long tail.
    But you can’t predict the future from the present when it comes to predict disruptive elements. Synthetic fuel becoming a reality may lead to things that nobody could predict for example.
