Ronald Bakker

Working almost 25 years for Sogeti, started as a mainframe developer but switched to infra engineer after 5 years. From that moment, most of the time working on projects, most expertise in the workspace environment. Started with packaging, ending as the technical and operational team lead for the Dutch packaging team with also a team in India. In total around 20 persons. From there broadened my knowledge and experience to workspace management, with tools like Windows OS deployment and management through SCCM, Remote Workspace solutions like Citrix XenApp / XenDesktop, application compatibility (ChangeBase and AppDNA), Unidesk OS and App layering (now part of Citrix), and so on. From about 2015, moved to cloud based infrastructures and working on and developing the Sogeti Smart Workspace as one of the first consultants. Still working for SSW as the architect for both run and onboarding and solution development.
