We should be scared says Harris; we are creating an incredible technology which will have the power to destroy us. It is non-argumantative, to say that ‘We shouldn’t worry, because we have still 10, 50 or 100 years to go before AI will have (super) human intelligence.‘ What would we do if some aliens told us they would arrive in 50 years to Earth? We would probably feel some urgency to make preparations… Harris argues we should feel the same urgency regarding AI.
