Steffen Waldersdorff Lang is a Principal Consultant and have been working for Capgemini Sogeti Denmark in 18 years. Previously, Steffen worked for 5 years in the Department of Forensic Genetics, Copenhagen University, building a custom LIMS systems, integrating DNA sequencers and developing core component for performing biostatistical calculations in paternity cases. Within Capgemini, Steffen has mainly been focusing on the Microsoft Technology stack and has worked as solution and integration architect on large scale enterprise projects both within the private and public sector. Steffen has in recent years intensively explored Windows Azure focusing on IoT, Cognitive Service and Microsoft Bot Framework. This has resulted in a range of real-life and experimental projects: • IoT enabled Tumble Dryer Technologies: RPI2, Windows 10 IoT Core, UWP, RFID, Current sensor, Bot Framework, ASP.NET • Info Display with facial recognition Technologies: Intel Compute Stick, Webcam, UWP, Cognitive Services (FaceAPI) • NIM game powered by cloud AI, featuring a tangible user interface using Light Blue Beans Technologies: 15 Light Blue Beans, BLE, Azure ML, UWP • Office Chatbot with backend integration to internal Capgemini Sogeti Denmark systems Technologies: Bot Framework, Cognitive Services (LUIS, QnA), App Services, Azure WCF relay • PoC collecting data from industrial grade sensors Technologies: Azure IoT Hub, Xamarin Forms, pressure sensors, Power BI Several of these projects have been used as case stories in an ongoing series of hand-on workshops that Steffen are facilitating internally in Capgemini Sogeti Denmark with the purpose of raising awareness about IoT, Machine Learning and Cognitive Services.
