Doug Loots joined Sogeti USA in January 2013. Doug’s first role with Sogeti was National Solution Architect for the Digital Transformation practice where he developed Sogeti’s Digital Strategy solution and lead deployment at multiple clients. In 2016, Doug accepted a new role as Regional Practice Director in the central region supporting Des Moines, Omaha, Kansas City, Dallas, and Minneapolis clients with their Digital Transformation journeys. Prior to Sogeti, Doug was SVP, Digital Marketing at Mercer Health & Benefits, Director, e-Business and Customer Engagement at Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield, and held several digital, marketing, and product positions at Wells Fargo. Doug earned his MBA from the University of Iowa. He also was an adjunct professor in the MBA program having created and taught the Universities Digital Marketing curriculum for three years. Doug served as a Director on the University of Iowa’s Marketing Institute Board of Directors for six years. He continues to serve as an advisor to the Business Intelligence and Analytics program where he helped create the curriculum for the University’s advanced analytics graduate certificate programs. Doug remains a member of the University’s Analytics Leadership council. Doug is passionate about the opportunities of emerging technology capabilities paired with business and marketing principles. He believes by intelligently leveraging technology, brands will be able to better connect with their customers, workforces, and drive innovation to the marketplace. Doug is also highly interested in how technology can improve workforce effectiveness, improve workplace safety, and enable employees to better serve their customers.
