  1. I fully agree it makes sense to start addressing test environment organization immediately. Then again, it it a lot of grounds to be covered and some investments pay off much quicker than others. Therefore, I suggest one of the early activities should be to define an improvement roadmap. Quickly harvesting the low hanging fruit helps to free up resources for the long term improvements.
    An example of low hanging fruit: In the SAP test environments that are my natural habitat, making firm agreements on use of test data already helps a lot to prevent multiple projects from interfering with each others’ test data.
